Yes, i´m watching sat-meter values. My sat-meter does not provide TV-Screen. But i don´t Need to watch tv while aligning the dish. Today i´ve found the fault of my dish. Now i can assemble the dish at home and then watch TV. For Example 10729: 7,5 10758: 7,6 10847: 7,2 10906: 7,9 11081: 18,5
11656: 19,3 11344: 7,9

The dish was cheep, 1 Euro by eBay and the pre-user made two-parts of it for Transport from Tunesia to Spain. Then he put it together with rivets. The buttom side was bent, i take a junk of Wood and press to the buttom side. This amlified the SNR about 0,5 SNR. With a penlight in a tube of the LNB-Spacer i find the Focus, Change the rusty feedarms againgst studding to get better aligning. Yes and much time and nerves to find the correct Point.

All feeds look to perform almost identically from those figures

Yes, nearly the same values. Maybe i could gain the Signal a Little. But the Gibertini is the only one that receives the 2 G Spotbeam with TP 10964 and 10994 when the dish is fixed to Astra 2E.

I meant close enough that really the only improvement that might make a difference is a better reflector, which would mean a larger one in most instances.

I Would say 2.4 m pfa is big enaugh. In my region the signal does not varies much. Means for bbc hd i have rain margin 0.6 db. When it disapeared i can Switch to tp 10818 witch rain margin 0.8. Theo Next Problem was to geht a 3 m oda dish.

A better reflector can also mean one that is straight and the feed receives signals from all positions.

There are threads on the forum on members that have improved the Chinese 2.4m dishes in order to perform adequately at Ku band, despite them being designed for C band

Have you removed all traces of warping, dents and surface corrosion ?

I get in contact with satdxer from St.Pölten. This is about 25 km´s east from my Location. He gets Signal with Hirschmann 2,3 m PFA with nearly the same values. Someone in Statzendorf (North from St.Pölten) gets nothing with 2,4 m. In Graz, farther south with 3 m no Signal. I get only 30, 32 db from this beam. So i think it´s well aligned. The bottom side of the dish i have cleaned.
