Hi Satellite Community, I spent most of my saturday playing around with stuff, and introduce to you my homemade monoblock - its two Humax 0.3dB LNBs with a home made bracket connecting two holders, it works well on 13E/19E - 60cm dish (south coast UK). I did this some I can use the other ouputs on my 4-1 Diseqc switch for other dishes/sats.

I was trying to fine tune it, whilst my receiver gives some indication of signal strength but doesn't put any %'s to it (Sammy DSR9500), it seems to be running at about 50-60% worth of signal strength bars, no matter what I do I can't seem to improve much on this - have I maxxed out on my 60cm? It seemed to work OK and even in the rain on Saturday night..

Here are some pictures for you enjoyment:

Cheers CTS

ps - other recommendations for birds I can get with 60cm other than 13e,19.2e,28.2e and 5w

W3a at 7E should be within range, as well as the stronger tp's on 42E. 30W should be an easy catch too.

That big Triax of yours should sort it!

Yeah I suppose! Should dig it out from under the bed. 1.1M it is... Have 12" actuator + polar mount, but need something 36V-ish to drive it....
