Tomorrow will start Finnish cricket week here in Kerava. Accidentally I live next to main cricket arena (in fact only cricket only court in Finland).
Marlybone cc from Uk will be the best known team at tournament or what ever they will organize (surprise, not familiar sport for me or above all here).

Hope they will get good weather and yes I will watch matches from backyard

I really hate these poles but otherwise nice looking area. Luckily I got solution against these nightmares and harm quite minimal anymore.

Yep, pf have now about 3.5m stand and only missing/worsen signals (C-band) are 18W and 34.5W (dont know yet 40.5W because trees making it difficult now on summer). Ku missing signals only 48E I think? New Afghansat disappeared at once when these poles appeared.

Cricket finds a new home in Kerava

Cricket may not be the first sport that comes to mind when you think of Finland- but the game here has come on in strides in recent years. Now the national team has its own home, which was officially opened yesterday.

I remember a programme on Radio 4, must be ten years ago now, presented by the late Nick Clarke on cricket in France. He was looking at the grass roots more and, I think, somewhere down in the Perigord. Shame it's never been repeated.
