thanks, i'm so happy now lol

Well done martz congratulations, but just one word of warning as soon the trees will have leaves on them and it is possible that these COULD affect your signal or indeed block it altogether.

Lets hope it doesn't

i'm not asking for any links or anything but does anyone know if there is a patch available for the SL35, just so i don't go searching for hours for no reason.

martz I don't believe that there is a patch for the SL35 at present. However, take a look at this forum. Cheers Blue1927

i'm thinking of getting a technomate tm1500+ super, and an art card, on the art transponder i have managed to receive the IQRAA- ARABESQUE, this is fta but shows the same signal quality and strength as the art sport channels - Strength - 75% Quality - Between 35% and 51% but doesn't go blocky at all, does this mean i should be able to receive the art sports without it going blocky? considering my setup(if i get a technomate)

i sure am, i've been interested in satellite tv for a long time but my parents only recently let me get my own dish (had sky since 99) and it's gone on from there, and my parents are so impressed i've managed to install it all myself (except drilling the holes) and it's my birthday on friday so should get some cash from that and some cash from ebay sales and i can afford some decent sat gear. also i used to get blockiness but i moved the dish up about 10cms on the mount and now i get perfect signal on all channels, must have just managed to get it pointing over the trees or through a gap lol.

I dug out this old dish from the loft and I want to use it like Analoguesat uses his tyre dish, i want to take it to my nans round the corner when i stay there, the only problem is it doesn't have an lnb collar and the one i have on my 57cm is the same size as the hole, what can i do to get the lnb in the correct place?

I know it looks rusty in the pics but its not really that bad.
The actual pole measures 2.5cm across

I would think you might need a larger dish something nearer 80 cm, but try your dish first and see what happens.
If you do need a larger dish it won't take long to fit one up.
But if I where you wait before you start splashing out money on cards and receivers, after all the football season is drawing to a close now, and when the trees are covered with leaves you might have no picture at all.

Play with what you have and see if you can still get a picture in the summer.
