Been testing a lot of different brands and models lnbf:s on 2d 10.773 H and most of them gives a signal strength of 58-61% and about 50% pic quality at a certain time of day.

Now I fitted an Invacom flange lnb on the Fibo antenna and I only get 43% signal strength but the pic quality is 50%

I know it's the pic quality that counts but why is the signal strength difference so big comparing the flange Invacom with all the lnbf:s?!?

What type of feedhorn are you using?

I'm using the stock Fibo feedhorn with the flange Invacom, with the lnbf:s I have been testing without the Fibo feedhorn and also cut the lnbf:s feeds and tested them with the Fibo stock feedhorn.

By the way i don't seem to have the same Fibo feed as all the others I've seen on the net, mine has a four screw fit.

Have never come across a C120 LNB without at least 4 tapped holes to fix the feedhorn to. Your problem may be that your feed horn requires adjustment in or out to obtain the correct focal point. when I changed to the invacom c120 I had to move the feed horn supplied towards the dish about 1/2" compared with the position of the original feed horn that was fittedto the dish.

If you are getting low signal and higher quality, then the feedhorn is probably too close to the dish. if too far away, logic would dictate that the quality would decrease as you pick up surrounding reflected radiation..
