Hi All,

Newbie here. I own a standard sky minidish and Pace digibox.

I've always wondered how some of the boozers pick up premier league footie on sat afternoons. How is this possible? Surely not with a standard dish.

How would I go about upgrading my equipment etc - I am no longer under the twelve month contract with sky.

Welcome Hefty,

The Sky digibox and minidish are pretty much only good for their original use, the dish being too small for most other satellites and the receiver being limited in it's receiving parameters.

Apart from the football shown on Sky Sports, there is also football on the Scandinavian channels plus others and pubs in the past have shown these games, even though it is not totally legit. Haver a look in the transponders and channels forum, there are some football threads there.
