This Thread is about the non-PVR :-rofl2

Perhaps worthy of a separate Thread?

My HDR received the upgrade yesterday - not that I'd noticed any problems before.

I spoke too soon.

Yesterday evening I switched the HDR on intending to record some programmes. The picture and sound came on for a few seconds and the both went leaving just a green screen with silence.

In returned the box to standby several times and physically unplugged it a few times as well but the problem was still there so I left it unplugged for a few hours. When I plugged it in later it appeared to be OK but by then it was time for bed.

I'll see what happens this evening!

I have to say that I LOVE this update - its got rid of the annoying things that I found about the box and was a really pleasant surprise to receive as I hadn't been tracking the likelihood of changes.

Being able to delete whilst recording and the auto tidy up of empty folders is how it should have been from the outset I think but now I wouldn't hesitate recommending the PVR box to anyone I know especially at 250 quid.

Is the boot time even a little faster - might be deluding myself and I never timed it before - anyhow now a very very happy owner instead of a very happy one.
