Anyone tried these on a motor!...68cm tryin to keep the size down!...any recommendations for Belfast Area with high gain quailty for motor

Yeah - just fitted one today in Brighton (south coast England) and it works really well - better signal levels than same size fortec star. and the construction of the dish and fittings are good and solid.

Haven't actually installed one myself, (Rolf has) but I think the 85cm version may be better for your location :)

yep was thinkin may have to go to 85cm but tryin to avoid that very encouraged by mickkeay reply

For Belfast I would definitely go for the Penta 85, although the smaller one will pull in quite a bit, the 85cm will do much better.

Yes it was on a motor (SG2100) . I need to keep the size down - hence the 68cm. (claimed to be as good as a 80cm) I am just a newbie but was very impressed by the solid build and quality bracket and general construction. Like I say, I only have my previous (maplin) fortec star to compare it with - but the penta was in a different league. Well worth it for me.

will go for that one mickkeay ta ta...rolfw in a rental for a while!(doin some buildin at the home place luck me!)...going to replace current S*Y dish in the hope its not noticed!!!and asked to take it down...will get 1.2 when move back in!:)
