A Freecam is a converted old irdeto CI cam. These old irdeto cams are no longer available (except used or old stock).
Whatever your Technomate has, it's not a Freecam. But it might work with the 6in1 files which were originally developed for the freecam, you have to try them and see.

I have read about the Beef patch & file but don't know anything about it.
From what I understand the Beef patch is only for embedded seca receivers. If you look at the readme in a WLTDO (Who Let The Dog Out) file it gives more details.
