Hello,

I've got an Echostar DSB 2110 2CI Viaccess and I'
ve downloaded Freecam2-018.

I presume that I load this into the receiver the same way as updating the receiver's software.

I'vde got PCbined which I use for gold cards etc.

What card do I need to use the Freecam and how exactly does it work on my set-up please.

Hi Sab,

The file you mention above (Freecam 2.018) is for Irdeto CAMs, not Viaccess or embedded units.

You don't mention having one, so I would guess that it will not work for you.

Buying an Irdeto cam would then solve the problem!

Yes Sab, but not just any one will do, it needs to be of the older design, not the Eurocam. These are at a premium at the moment and you also have to bear in mind that the forthcoming encryption updates could render it all but useless for a period of time.
