Hello,
I'm currently on HB 13E and my Ms wants to buy freeview box to get all the extra UK Channels. Before she spends 100£ or so

... I thought maybe I'd better off buying a dual LNB and point the 2nd to Astra (19E or 28E, which one...) ? Or shall I just buy the freeview box ? I also read that is possible to get triple LNB so I can get Astra1, Astra2 and Hotbird. I personally think that would be the otpimal solution but it also depends on the cost as I have no idea on how to upgrade to dual/multiple lnb...
Any idea/suggestions is more than welcome!
Thank you...

You could always compromise and get a Nokia221T( there are tricks out there for these ;) ) freeview reciever .They are going very cheap on e*ay at the moment. And get a cheap DiSEqc motor for your dish to give you more satellite choice. Cost of both items about £100. :D

thanks for that L.
So if I buy the DiSEqc motor 1.00 (I've seen it on the www for £100 without installation of course) I'll be able to get Astra 1, 2 and Hotbird with my current LNB right ? If so why do I still need to buy the Nokia receiver ? Just because it's cheap on e*ay ?
Thanks again

Depends on what you mean by 'extra' channels there.

There are some channels available on freeview that are not FTA on 28'E (ITV 1,2 FTN etc)
so if the boss wants these then you need to get a Freeview box.

P.S
There a lot of motors for sale brand new for a lot lot less than a hundred quid
Just go to consumer electronics section on e*ay and type in diseqc.
