Was watching the snooker tonight and noticed a fair amount of freezing picture. Signal strength is up at 88%, no error rate. Anyone got any bright ideas? (Happens some on my boxes downstairs as well - put that down to the wireless bridges maybe?)

Anyway, I heard that too high signal strength might cause freezing, and maybe an attentuator is needed? Anyone got any experience with this?

Signal strength at 88% isnt too high, id say its about right mate.

check your coax connections, both ends. Make sure no water is getting in at the dish end, and make sure none of the outer wire is touching the inner core wire... even one little strand can create big problems.

other than that, erm wind maybe (the weather variety :) )

BBC1 - FTA. I do have quite a few wires, some where the connectors have come off when I've pulled a little hard, and then I've just shoved them back on. Might go around and check those wires again, see if anything looks sus!
