My Satellite Setup
3 Dishes - Astra 2; Astra 1/Hotbird; Atlantic Bird
Analogue - Nokia 1700 Mk 2
Digital - Metronic Kbox FTA
My Location
Belgium
I am located in Belgium and am trying to pick up some French channels. With my Digital Receiver (Metronic Kbox FTA) and pointing to Atlantic Bird 3, I can pick up a number of channels; however, I would like to get TF1 and this is is only available FTA in analogue, as I understand it.

Borrowing an old Nokia 1700 Mark 2 analogue receiver (no manual sadly), I then connected the same satellite feed. This time, I do not receive any French channels, though if I redirect the dish to Hotbird or Astra 1, I can receive get analogue channels no problem.

Here is the configuration for the System and Channel settings for my attempt to connect to Atlantic Bird.

System:

Dual Band Input 1: Yes
MAC Decoder: No
Satellite Band Adjustment: 09750
LNB Band Input 1: 10

Channel:

Name: FR3
Magn. Pol.: 104
Satellite Band: High
Frequency: 12732MHz
Fine Tuning: AFC
Pol. Switch: - ; doesn't seem changeable!
Antenna Input: 1
Switch 0/12V: 0V
22KHz Switch: On

Would anyone be able to suggest what I might be doing wrong?
Many thanks in advance.

Where it says satellite Band adjustment, that should probably say 10600, which is the high band of a Universal LNB, is there nowhere in the menu to set the LNB to Universal?

Thanks for the reply; apologise for the delay - gravity caused my dish a slight fall ... and held things up for a few days.

I did set the sat adjustment to 10600, that didn't seem to solve the problem unfortunately. I also changed the dual input setting to OFF, which allowed me then to choose Vertical/Horizontal polarity ... still no joy.

Any other ideas? I also need to replace the LNB support bracket as it was cracked in the fall. The LNB still seems ok (can get digital channels), but the dish is now longer focussing the energy squarely on the LNB. Any suggestions on where I can find one on-line? My LNB arm is the rectangular type. Thanks in advance. (the good news is that dish is now very solidly installed!) :)
