My Satellite Setup
90cm Triax with Twin LNB's, Manhattan Starlight MX
Dragon Cam, Sly Dish, Freeview Reciever, Three TV's , Phillips Wireless TV Links, PS2, PC Laptop and hoping to grow.

Can you receive any french DVB-T channels to view with out needing to decrypt them? If so what are they? If not is it possible ?

Now that's a very good question. I guess you'd have to be on the coast and have a blo-O o-O dy good highly directional antenna.

Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Thanks for the help, if its as difficcult as it seems i think i'm going to get DVB - S instead. I'm thinking about the following:
Dreambox 7020-S receiver,
Triax TD78 80cm dish with Triax 20 degree Multi LNB kit


Any thoughts?

on a very good day in summer I can get french a FM station...

Excellent choice if you're up to the technical challenge.
I'd stretch to the TD88 if I were you to weatherproof your reception a bit more.
