Hi, everyone.

I have a friend that would need to buy a complete system (receiver/decoder, dish, lnb, etc) to get the Italian FTA channels on Hotbird.

I know all the mainstream channels are there, together with plenty of other regional tv and radio channels.

He lives in Staffordshire - south of Stoke. CAN ANYONE HELP?

What would the costs for the full package be? I was asked over £250 for a decoder by one ofthe local companies but I have he impression he is being ripped off.

Thank you for your help, guys

250 quid - tell that installer to take a long walk off a short pier! ;)

Get an 80 cm dish and universal lnb - less than 50 quid. FTA receivers start at under 100 quid new. pm or email me and I'll give you some suppliers addresses - (dont want to be accused of promoting any comercial concerns on the forum.)

for 250 quid you should be able to put together a decent system.for receiver id recommend something from the manhattan plaza range.the blind search feature is brilliant.the plaza200 is very wallet-friendly.

happy shopping
