a few questions thanks in advance if anyone can help
1 what size dish is needed to pick up sky over there
2 does the subscription need to be registered in the uk

You´ll probably need a 1.5m dish, and any sky subscription always must go to an address in the UK. Get a friend or relative to get it, although im told you can still have the direct debit taken out of your foreign account.

To get Astra 2D (BBC+ITV channels) you will probably need a dish of 3m or more. If you search the forum you will probably find some reception reports

I was about to help until I saw your picture!!!!!
A 1.2M will get you most channels in north Fuerte a 1.5 if far south. As previously said a good 3M will get you BBC & ITV. Dish costs 275 - 300 for a 1.2 & 2500 to 3000Euro for a 3M. I´m over in Lanzarote & the best advice I can give on who to use is ask around & get recommendations.
