Gemini 2.4 can't record

Since "upgrading" to Gemini 2.4 and newcamd 6.04 I can no longer record encrypted channels only FTA ones like BBC. !

Anyone else got this problem? Is there a solution? Is it the image or newcamd?

thank god someone else has got the same problem as me i too have gemimi 2.4 and newcamd 6.04 and can only record fta channels, i did manage to record 10 secs of sky one today though [maybe just a fluke!]
ive asked for advice in other forums but nobody seems able to help,
if you manage to sort it out please let me know!!!!

I'm guessing newcamd and cifs use up too much processor power (ie there isn't enough) and it "locks up". Have you tried another cam?

sorted my problem no longer using newcamd no more ,using camd 3.821 and can record all channels. [its only took me 3 weeks to work this out:-bash ]

Does it decrypt all the same channels e.g. 30W and TPS on 13E?

i can get tps ,spice[:-beer ] and tv cabo package but cant get mgm/showtime or canal 18 on 30.w but so what!!! im finally getting the hang of this bloody box!!!
