Character actor par excellence George A Cooper has died aged 93.

Possibly the most seen actor whose name many viewers couldn't put a name to?

Doctor Who, Casualty, Heartbeat ,Taggart, When the Boat Comes In, Mind Your Language, All Creatures Great and Small, Lou Grant, The New Avengers, Rising Damp, Billy Liar, Dixon of Dock Green, Sykes, Z-cars, Steptoe and Son, Doomwatch, Morcambe and Wise, Coronation Street, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), The Saint, The Avengers, No Hiding Place, Softly Softly, The Human Jungle, Danger Man...and on...and on...

Only last night I saw him in Public Eye on Talking Pictures TV.
