My Humax 5400 is connected to my cheapo Bush widescreen tv via a scart lead. Irrespective of which av channel I use on the tv, there is often a ghost image on the screen, which I suspect comes from a terrestrial source. The image is so faint that it’s impossible to discern which is the offending station, but I’d put money on its being Channel 5. It seems a pity to have an excellent digital picture spoiled by an errant analogue signal. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the UHF signal is bleeding across from the coax connector/cable to the Scart cable Wolsty. I have managed on most occasions to eliminate the bleed by using double screened coax and best quality coax plugs, backed up by better quality scart lead should that not work.

Thanks, Rolf. I'll go away and play with the cables.

Changed Scart cable. Complete success. Happy bunny. Many thanks.
