The return of family show Gladiators as the summer flagship show on Sky One drew a 10 per cent audience share for the broadcaster last night (11 May).
The BSkyB show, which was sponsored by Nintendo Wii, picked up 1.496 million viewers according to unconsolidated overnight figures for its 6 pm slot.
The show was scheduled against BBC Yung Musician of the Year on BBC2, All New You’ve been Framed! on ITV1 at 6.20 pm, Scrapheap Challenge on Channel 4 at 5.45 pm and Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home at 6.15 pm.
Viewers stayed with Sky One watch the new Shane Ritchie hosted pop quiz Don’t Forget the Lyrics. The programme picked up nearly one million viewers and a 5.3 per cent share.
Sky One took a 2.6 per cent share of viewing for the day overall.
