May I suggest hydra56xx_zeus, as I have just installed it myself, set up Lon/Lat, then selected a list of Sats sto scan and off it went, unlike the previous couple of images I have tried. Plus it looks cool too.

Only one problem I have is either my dish is not set right or not sufficient to lock onto certain Sats like 42E and also I think it needs find tuning on certain Sats too.

Keep us informed how you get on.

Cheers

When I flashed I used the Null Modem cable. Also when starting Dreamup you need to untick "Use Network".

Thats how I did it anyway, its slower than over the Lan but more stable, when I get setup better I'll give maybe try over the Lan.

Cheers

wont work, just read on sat-industry that i should just dump the image in temp folder via ftp and rename as root.cramfs then select manual update, so thats whats its doing now, fingers crossed...

well Homer, using dreamuplan or flashwizard seem to be the best ways of loading up images. The root.crmfs is also a method, but I am not sure it is the best.

Download the latest panel by the green button. 5.28 is there. Exit and go back in again.

Bet you haven't. Stay cool, and try a flash erase. Take it slow. They're harder to kill than Osama Bin Laden.

Maybe some enterprising university could offer a degree in the subject: BA Combined Dreambox Management and German Studies... At the very least there should be enough in there to do a City & Guilds Dreambox Proficiency Certificate.:-comp
