Its says 5600s on the front and the manual, but 5620s on the box and the serial sticker, is this right?

Welcome to the DreamBox world - you'll be back!

Yes

They didn't do a different box/manual for the modified 5620s

That's 21 minutes - how long does it it take to fit a plug?

You should have broken it by now - had to go out to buy a null modem cable - come on you're letting the side down ;-)

not tryed null modem or network yet...

just done single sat (thor) works fine, got kiosk 1 on...

tryin to add sats now.................slightly more difficult though.

using goto x function, got lon/lat in but im buggered if i know what im doing.

i manage to move the motor, but only manually and im boloxed if i gonna go through and add every sat manually, unless i really have to...

ive done it using usals before on an *sat, all i did then was add a single sat (astra) then send it to 0deg and say 'search ya little bar steward' and it did!!! this dunt seem quite like that though, or am i doin sommit wrong...

need to open the manual really, but thats no fun!!!

45mins till i gotta take 'her' to meet the fockers...

ps if anyone fancies adding me to their messenger for a little one-on-one, feel free... mickwbarlow*hotmail.com

on motor setting tick both boxes, i use 50mv or whatever it is lol

you need to send all the channels over from your PC....its easier this way

then depending on the image (some work some dont??)
then just choose a channel, and the motor should just go to it... if your dish is aligned properly :)

if this dont work, you will have to do each sat manually hahahah... err sorry :p

Not having much luck either with the Autogoto function, I inputted my Lat/Lon, but just left it on the default East for the Longitude figure and North for the Latitude figure, same as you not sure what to select in here, as when I was using the SS2 plugin, didn't have to select North etc.

Let me know if you have any luck.

BTW, what image are you using ?

Cheers
