_http://www.telecomsecurity.it/Default2.htm click on "CAP SYSTEM".

They claim they're the lowest loss connector in the world. Doesn't look like it's a very secure connection to me and I can also imagine it to be a bit of a pain if I regularly connect and disconnect.

What do you think?

I have used them, very compact, they are ideal for using in a cabinet or rack where space is limited, and if you have multiple cables, they are available in different colours. They do grip the cable surprisingly well :)

I wouldn't use them outside or where you need to repeatedly connect/disconnect or where there was any strain on the cable. :(

John, I think it only comes in one size and I think the site says it can take up to 7mm diameter cable, sorry, my Italian's a little rusty. ;)

Will it just be a simple matter of boring out the hole a couple of mm in order for it to take WF125 cable?

They are made of a hardish rubbery material, and you push the cabe through, not too sure how successfully you could bore it out, maybe would stretch over WF125 anyway. :(

If you wanted one to play with, PM me your addr. and I'll pop one in the post. :D
