I have been using networked Fetch TV (Netgem) PVRs because I like the way that they can easily stream content between them and other clients on the network. However there are a few things I don't like about them, especially their reliability. However it is also time for me to upgrade to HD and the best way for me to do that is invest in a new set of HD receivers (I shall probably be happy with just Freesat). Ideally I would like to get one or two PVR receivers and the rest (probably 4) as just HD receivers, put them all on my LAN so that recorded content can be streamed from the PVRs to any other box.

Can anyone recommend boxes which will do this? On another forum someone stated that the Humax boxes can share content, but there is no mention of this in the Humax user guides.

If you're adventurous you might consider the Humax Foxsat HDR and then flash it with the modifoed firmware that's available. As standard though I don't think it'll be what you want.

Thanks. Can you direct me to where I can read about the firmware?
