When we are watching Sky+ we can hear, very faintly, the sound from the channel that is on the TV. Has anyone heard of this before or better still know the solution. We have a Thomson Sky+ box and a Panasonic TH42PX60 Plasma TV.

Well I believe it is referred to as cross talk and can be caused by many things even bad circuit board design. Presumably you are using scarts, are any of the cables strapped together or damaged at all?

Oh welcome to the forum by the way

It's possible that if using a scart lead that it's a cheap one with the individual leads lying next to each other inside the platic sheath.

A better quality scatr lead will have many of the individual leads with their own earth shielding.

A cheap lead will be about the diameter of a pencil, a better quality will be about 3/8" (10mm) in diameter.
