Does anyone know of a heavy duty polar or horizon mount that would support a dish of about 50kg?

Maybe something like the Proform H-180 if they are still available.

50kgs ?
What diameter dish, and probably more importantly

Is it mesh or solid
Is it offset or primefocus
Is the dish for reception of C band , Ku band or both
What type of environment, enclosed, or exposed, maximum wind speed, temperature extremes etc, etc.

2.4M solid prime focus for Ku-band. Mounted externally but I intend to put up windbreakers.

Egis is out of my price range.

SMR1224 from Jaeger then, it can take up to 2.4m dishes.

I'm not at all sure SMR1224 can manage a dish like the one Orthoclipse talked about.
I had it cracked in two by wind (Italy 13.6e 42) with a 125 cm Gibertini dish (have photos).
It is the EL version (lateral support).
I think its light alloy plate is too weak for holding a "sail effect" of a dish over 120 cm in high winds.
I have knit and reinforced the slab and reinstalled it again, however this motor is not the very "eavy duty" one like some satstore sites assert.

Precision can probably sell just the polarmount for one of their own 2.4m dishes.

If I remember correctly you would have to make six holes in the reflector in a circle of about 80cm diameter to match up with the ring on the mount
Then you will need a heavy duty motor, possibly two , to take into account all the satellites.
