Just found them a few minutes ago before I read this as this is one of my regular scans for new transponders only Vouli & ERT-3 FTA the others show as FTA but are encrypted.

Both transponders received with equal signal quality so I assume that they are using both BSS & FSS beams for these transponders ?

No, BSS means 11.7...12.5 GHz in ITU Region 1 that includes Europe.
Also, 12223 H and 12241 H are on the same 34 MHz transponder (12232.5 H, see Frequencyplansatellites site).

N ot so much of a reply but a plea for some basic help please.
I believe that RIKSAT has now gone over to Hellassat 3 from 2 however I have lost contact as such I believe my LNB might be faulty, as the dish is exactly where is has always been, I get a good signal strength (62 db), but no signal quality, can anyone suggest a testing procedure please.

12252V in DVB-S2 so if your receiver is sd only you wont get any signal

Hi Analoguesat, thank you so much for the swift reply, that is something which did not occur to me, my Digit Cl 2 is about 14 years old and has been very reliable looking at the manual it states that supports DVB not sure what D VB-S2 is or Sd, please could you explain further.?

DVB-S2 is a new format which makes better use of the available bandwidth and is used extensively by high definition services.

A 14 year old receiver is very unlikely to support DVB-S2 so you may wish to think about replacing the receiver.

Hi thank you for info I decided on a Technomate TM Nano SE Plus it appears to be good value what do you think.?

I prefer the non Linux Technomates as they are much easier to set up such as the TM5402HD M3,
The TM Nano SE Plus can prove very frustrating to set up due to the over complexity & unforgiving software,

That's ok if you are familiar with Linux Satellite but if you are not be aware that there is a much steeper learning curve with Linux & you will be better off with the TM5402HD M3.
