I asked the supporter of star-sat in Emirates and he said there is no master password only u can go to STB mode and insert 9876 then the present password will change to 0000!!! not good....
U have another choice, Check all the passwords from 0000 to 9999, It will take u 'bout 8 hours but not very bad!!!! (lol)

Dear ali-8210, You need a software cleaner, Rs232 cable,an emupgrade, latest version.
first you need to turn off your receiver, communicate with computer by Rs232 cable. open emupgrade.exe. click on browse, choose the cleaner, then turn on the receiver. the software cleaner will be downloaded to receiver.
turn it off again,click on browse choose the latest version 2.56 ( marked as 2.55 in site ) All files are *.BIN. turn on your receiver the latest software is downloaded. All this files are available @ http://www.satsw.com but unfortunately it's protected now.

so i share the file of

and s/w 12.88
and h/w 7.00
so it has only change of s/w alright not to change your model and h/w ok
