I'm having a 180cm Dish with KTI LBNF. The details of the LBNF as follows,
Input Fr : 3.4-4.2 Ghz
Output Fr : 950-1750 Mhz
L.O Fr : 5150 Mhz
Noice figure : 17K
Conversion Gain : 65 dB
Image Rejection : 45 dB
1 dB compression : +5 dB Min
V/H Isolation : 23 dB Min
Supply Voltage : +10 - +25 V
Output VSWR : 2.5 : 1
V/H Switch Voltage : 14/18V

Today I bought a EUROSTAR High Gain Line Amplifier. But when I connect it between my LBNF & the receiver, signals not coming to the receiver (I don't see any channel after I connect this Amplifier. But if I remove it, Channels are coming again)

I bought this because mostly in the night time, the signals are very week & I can't get the channels clearly. But why I won't get the signal when I put this Amplifier? (The Amplifier lable says 950 - 2050 MHz)

Please help.

The line amplifier will only help if you have a very long cable run, say in excess of 50 metres. What length is your cable run and where are you inserting the line amp and what is the full spec? I would also add that your dish is a tad on the small side for good C band reception and a larger one would almost certainly solve your problem.

PS. Moving this thread to the Dish setup section.

My cable runs for about 10 meters & I have inserted the amplifire near the receiver.
My dish is a 6 feet one for C band. I'm trying to get Thaicom3 satellite signals
