Hi all
I reinstalled my system last night
set the east and west limits dish moved no problem.
followed all the instructions in the manual.

then lined up the dish on 5 west dish moved to 5 west no problem.

tried to add a new sat which was 1 west dish would not move.

do ye think it maybe a faulty motor as the receiver is telling me its moving but
when i go out to check the dish has not.

thanks

Motor is a digipower it has not got usals which I found out when trying to reinstall.

so its disceqc 1.2 set up that im doing..

having the guy who set it up initially call back tomorrow to check out the motor I think that's whats causing the problem.

Does anyone have an echostar 890 receiver????
Im finding its not a very user freindly..

I checked your manual and it says you only have to enter a sat if it is not in the database. So there are some sats already set up. Why do you not use one of them first before you try one manually.

Besides if the the motor is a motek 2100 then it should work fine with usals receiver. Did you set up all the coordinates for your geographical position properly unter "system6" ?

Perhaps the LNB has a problem or is dead. Do you receive any channels on 5 West ?
