Yes, but why do you have the motor fitted?

If the dish is set up on the East West Arch correctly and you use the Technomate receiver to drive the motor to 28.2 East.

If you have the cable feed from the dish split to both receivers then the Sky box will receive the channels on 28.2 East, that is my understanding.

I may be wrong as I don't have Sky but I'm sure someone else will confirm either way!

You may find that the Sky installer will not install to a motorised dish and as a general rule it is not a very satisfactory for operation, as the dish needs to be parked at Astra 28.2 overnight for the upgrades and phone home requests. At the very least I would add a twin LNB and run a separate cable in to the Sky receiver, but if you can't do that then it should work on loopthrough if the other receiver is switched off.

Why use such large letters? looks like you are shuting.

Providing you have a digital receiver to drive your DISEqC motor to 28.2E & providing you have an LNB with more than one output,it should work.

the software download for sky will be via the telephone,so what you mean is sky can't move the dish but still can get the signal from the cable even via the motor ,offcourse if it's pointed on astra 28.

Wrong wrong wrong - all software updates come via the satellite signals - usually delivered overnight. The phone line has NOTHING to do with upgrades at all

The software download is off air, not via the telephone, if you are getting a subsidised box though, it needs to receive the request off air to phone home.

Your question doesnt make sense. The digibox will be able to get the signals as long as

1) the dish is pointing at 28E
2) the dish is big enough for your location to actually pick up the signals

HOWEVER - digiboxes dont really like losing lock on the Sky signals, you will probably find that you have to unplug the digibox regularly to reset it. You would be much better off rigging a permanent dish specifically for 28E, and using this for the digibox.

i CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY QUESTION CAN'T MAKE A SENSE,IT'S SO SIMPLE,SKY DIGIBOX IS NOT DiSEqC_1.2 ENABLED,SO IT MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PICK SIGNAL VIA THIS KIND OF MOTOR AS THE SIGNAL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS MOTOR.

The motor has no effect on the signal, yes it will work.

The guys are just warning you of the pitfalls of not keeping the
dish at 28E, It will cause the box to freeze and will be a a pain in the ass!!!
But go ahead and try it and let us know how you get on.

As sonic says, as far as the digibox is concerned the signals will pass transparently through the motor. Personally what I would do is to put a dual LNB on the dish, and take the second cable direct to the digibox.

BTW - Please dont type all in CAPITALS - its considered to be SHOUTING and makes people reluctant to chip in with advice.
