Has anyone tried dumping software via a JTAG interface? I've seen a file from a Pace 2500 on another site so I thought I would have a go.
I am experimenting with an old Amstrad DRX100 and a homemade buffered JTAG interface. I can read the processor ID (it's an ST20-TP2) but I can't figure out how to read memory addresses. I've tried JKEYS and Pionero software, but no luck so far. I suspect the newer ST processors in more modern boxes have a 'DCU' mode that allows the memory to be read more easily and that's how the 2500 file was obtained.
All suggestions gratefully received.
