My Satellite Setup
Amd Athlon xp 3200+
Windows xp
512mb ram
128 mb ge force fx pro
80 gb hard drive
NTL cable
Sky FreeSat
My Location
North East
our family is emigrating to belize in the very near future, and we are wondering what setup would we need to recive american tv packages such as dish network an directv, prefferably the ultimate packages.

Hi you can get many English speaking channels in Belize with different size ku band dishes. I.e you will need a 1.8 meter dish for DTV (101) and a 2.4 meter dish for the Dish Network

You have a few choices. You can go for USA Direct tv or the Dish network or you can get a Canadian satellite service such as Star Choice, which will provide you with much more UK programmes such as Eastenders and Coranation Street. Star Choice will also provide you with all the USA networks such as ABC NBC etc. Also it will give you the strongest signal too, you will only need a 75 cm ku band dish to recieve it.
