I would say Henry for all round skill and flair, but Van Nistelroy has it on determination and opportunism, what a scorer.

Being a ManU fan obviously I think Ruud is the best. Henry has more speed and likes to come from the outside, whereby Ruud is more of a poacher and scores most of his goals from inside the box (and a lot from point blank range). I always think though that players who have speed as their main weapon suffer when they get older (and after they have had a knee operation or two). So if I had to choose between the two as manager I would take Ruud for his sledgehammer determination and poaching instinkts...

I think Henry is the better player. Other than Alan Shearer he was the quickest to 100 premiership goals. But, not only has he scored all those, he creates more than RvN. I also think he breeds fear in defences because of his pace and ability. Voted second best in the world in 2 polls this year.

Van Nistelrooy , Due to it has only taken him apx 3yrs to reach over 100 goals , and it has taken Henry 5yrs apx to do the same!!

Both are great players but I feel Henry offers more to the team not only in goals but assists as well, I mean his goalscoring record is pretty awesome but if you look at his assist ratio too then it speaks volumes for what he brings to the team.
A fully flying Theirry Henry is simply unstoppable and probably the best player in the world.

P.S. B4 u think I'm a Gooner I aint,I support Everton!

You're spot on there mate. If Arsenal hadn't have thrown away the title last season then they could be on for 3 in a row at the end of this. Coincides with Henry coming to the club.

Thierry Henry is a gifted player no doubt, but he seems arrogant. To make a fair judgement one should consider how both teams play. Ruud i the lone striker up front having to battle, whereas Arsenal play Henry deep running at defences. Anyway, i hope Henry doesn't play this weekend and Ruud scores a hat-trick. Go teh Red Devils!!
