Hex file for Star-Sat Receiver?

Hi please help me.​

for programming my receiver (starsat X-200CI) i did:​

1.Went to www.satsw.com.​

2.Downloaded item number #11 which is loader(emupgrade)​

for starsat and installed in my pc.​

3.connect nine pin female+female(rs232c cable) for​

connection between pc and receiver​

3.Started the loader(emupgrade) and browse for bin file​

sr-x200ci (I downloaded this file from www.satsw.com).​

4.Checked my current model I.D, h/w version, s/w version​

from STB status of my receiver and compared with the​

laoded file on emupgrade.​

5.my current model (receiver) is h/w ver=2.00 , s/w​

ver=2.55 , model I.D=E224 and for sr-x200ci file was hw​

ver=7.00 ,s/w ver=2.64 .model id=E224 ??? (after E244​

was 3 question mark) therfore I pressed start button​

of emupgrade for downloading.​

6.Powered off my receiver from backside and restart​

again.​

but nothing happened !! what is wrong??​

(maybe I should say peressing 1234 I​

entered STB setting and I deleted all​

viaccess codes manually)​

please answer me what should I do step by step.​

Hi,
You tried to upload the WRONG file to your reciever. Your Hardware version is 2 (H/W 2) and you tried to upload version 7 (H/W 7).

Check on www.satsw.com for a proper udpate for your STB model. If there is no update available, check again in a day or two, as the website is updated on a daily basis....hope it helps....

try to load the software cleaner first as it needs to delete older files from your receiver. u can get the software clean file at satsw.com

I believe it takes time to develop a patch for each model. The update for your model has just been released, and is now available on satsw.com. It is update no.3, Dec_19_SR-X200CI . Hope it helps ;)

This is the way to get the best Hex Files on the net:
go to h**p://www.sat-key.org/Choose from the lest menu "Sat-Key Files"
Then Choose "6x1 files"
Then download the latest file for the Owner "mach1"
Unzip it and go to "Fun6in1mach1" folder and choose "3-Eprom 18.12.2004 humax nokia eurocam.hex"

Iam using this file and its working perfect with me on StarSat and even on most of the receivers.

For Watching Multivision u need to upgrade your receiver with the new Decemebr 19 software

how can I transfer data between receiver and PC.

Just keep trying the satsw site - there has been heavy demand on the site for the new software due to the encryption tweak last weekend. Result - the site is swamped and appears to be down for hours at a time.

Please do not keep posting multiple identical requests a few minutes apart - you wont get the software any faster!
