:-doh! Been looking everywhere for receiver reviews. Dreambox has been reccomended, but is it that complicated to set up?

I would recommend the Triple Dragon instead, its a Linux receiver but with much higher quality.

I bought mine a week ago and really like it, everything feels like the old school quality.

:D Thanks! Almost bought a Dreambox but was getting a bit lost with it. Just going to have a look around for some prices and reviews. But, as you have one I can always pick your brains.

When it comes to user friendly i must say the Linux receivers are very easy when you get used to them.

I used to work alot with *NIX systems at work before so this was a great thing now to refreshen my memory again as i haven't worked for a long time with it.

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

The only thing I found complicated with the Dreambox, was where to put files if installing emulators manually, but as I use the Gemini image, it is all done automatically. :)
