Please help.

I recently purchased a Technomate TM-5500 DAPCI receiver and a JAEGER SILENT GOLD H to H 36 VOLT mount.

The wiring in the mount I can understand. Motor = red and black.
Sensor = grey and white.

I find the Technomate receiver a little confusing.

As the sensor wires are grey and white, to which terminals do I connect,
and do I connect them to the left or right set of terminals.

ACTUATOR
DC 36 VOLTS 3 AMPS
MOTOR 1 MOTOR 2

: O black O black :

Any help in this matter would be much appreciated as I understand a wrong connection could result in a the reed switch be burned out

Many thanks Banjo2

It does not matter which way you wire the sensor pair. Just don't connect the 36V side to the sensor by accident as this will blow your reed sensor.

The sensor termainals are the lower two. The upper two are 36v positioner power.

Nice to talk to somebody in my area.

I've had the Technomate about 6 weeks and so far very pleased with it.
At the moment i'm receiving Hotbird. Hoping to motorise in the near future.

Only negative points with Technomate is the manual they supply (very vague), and
their email helpline,( they never answer your queries).

The forum has been most helpful. Kind regards Banjo2
