Hi,
I'm using Sky Star with ProgDVB and have my antena pointed to Hispasat 30º W.
When I perform channel search on ProgDVB it finds TV Cabo and Digital+ channels.
The issue is that it can not manage to find all the TV Cabo channels; it detects only a few of them. My TV receiver (not sky star but the satellite receiver I've connected to my TV) finds all the channels...
Have you experienced something like this?

I suppose Hispasat now have sattelites 1C and 1D but in ProgDVB on the sattelite list it only shows 3300: Hispasat 1A, 1B, 1C.

Thank you very much for your help.

Cheers.

I've realized that ProgDVB is catching only the TV Cabo channels in frequency/TP 12012 V/tp 58.
Why is it not finding the other channels (11851 H/tp 44, ...)?
Help me please...
Thanks.

Your satellite / channel list is way out of date - Hispa 1A was junked 2 years ago. Manuallly add in the missing transponder(s)

.ini files for ProgDVB available here -

Just replace your old .ini file for Hispasat with the new one.

It did not worked out. It's very strange. I can catch the signal at about (60-70% quality) of the other channels (that is the channels that are resident in other transponders) but when I select them nothing is shown. The receiver is not "processing" those channels.
Could it be a problem of the LNB used? Do you know if Hispasat (and TV Cabo) requires a specific type/model of LNB?
Thanks.

Don't think that the LNB is at fault as you are getting a reasonable signal there.

Are you attempting to decrypt these channels or are you only interested in the FTA ones ?
I ask this as it seems to me that your SS2 is working but you are trying to decrypt channels unsuccessfully. Could this possibly be what is happening ? As 11851H is listed as being in Nagra 1 / 2 I suspect this may be the case.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. I'm attempting to decrypt these channels. Almost all channels in TV Cabo (except 1 or 2) are encrypted.
When I make channel search with ProgDVB it performs the search for channels on all the transponders but it only returns (in the TV Cabo case) the channels that are on 12012V (http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/cabo.html). I manage to see those channels (on 12012V) decrypted.
The channels on the other transponders/frequencies do not appear in the channel list at all.
Thanks.

Hey,

Did you manage to solve the problem?

I'm with the same problem, i can't detect the main 4 channels (RTP, 2:, SIC and TVI) , but can detect other channels like Discovery, AXN, etc.

Using Skystar 2 and the Level is 70% and Quality 100%.

Thanks

Start by replacing your C:/Progdvb/Transponders folder with this one.
(Unzip it first obviously)
Then scan again.

I can now use ProgDVB with the new drivers.

I can se now all the channels, it was the LNB in the wrong angle.

But i'm with a new problem, the quality is always 0%, but i can see all the channels with no problem. I will try to figure this out.

Thanks
