Pace TDS470N Sky+ Receiver, Technomate TM-5400CI+ FTA Receiver, Raven Gemini 70cm Mesh Dish with East & West offset LNB brackets, 2 x Inverto Black Ultra Single LNBs, Inverto Black Premium Quad LNB, Eurostar 4x1 DiSEqC Switch, Webro WF100 Cable

If I just want to pick up just Hotbird 13E and Astra 28.8E with 2 LNB's on a single fixed dish setup (I'm located in the south of the UK), would a 60cm dish be sufficient or do I really need an 80cm dish to achieve good signals from 2 satellites with a 12.8 degree separation?

Thanks,
Gary

Go for a Raven Gemini 70cm with Eastern sats offset bracket, should be fine. :)

That doesn't look a bad option actually. Would a 70cm dish also support receiving of a third satellite on 19.2E as well as 28.8E and 13E because I'm still in a dilemma as to whether or not to bother with 19.2E for now and maybe just add it later if I so decide.

Rolf, what LNB's did you use on the setups you installed? Might not really make a lot of difference but maybe I would be better using ones that had been successfully tried and tested with the Raven dish.

Also, am I correct in assuming you're talking about the Raven Gemini 70cm MESH dish (i.e. not a solid one)?

I've used the solid Geminis mostly, the LNBs have varied, but most modern quality LNBs will do the job. :)

You could also use a zone 2 sky dish, but you have to extend the lnb arm by 2".

rolfw`s way is probably the best and easiest way.;)
