How accurate is "line-of-sight" on DishPointer.com?

Is the green line-of-sight on Dishpointer.com pretty much spot on in terms of the direction it points in for the various satellites, or just a rough guide?

I have checked it out and for me dishpointer is a few degrees west of where my dish actually needs to be for each sat but it is ok for a guide.

On this subject I'm trying to use the dish pointer website using various locations and satellites but it always seems to come up with an obstacle in the distance of 49.9 m and 22.2 m height even when I put the pointer (dish) in the middle of a field?
Edit I just found I can move the small marker.

Yup, moving the marker to were the dish is mounted helps quite a bit, entering your exact address then zooming in as close as you can to were the dish will be mounted helps, moving the little marker is getting it as close as it can be.

I found that it's about +- .25 degrees from true dead on, on most satellites I have run across.

When it comes to trees, the higher you can get the dish the better.
