Hi everyone
I have Star Com SR 200 CI Plus , I have a problem : I can 't recognize the patch file from other files when I want to update my receiver to see the scrambled channels . I note that the extensions of the files are (sgn) and (bin). I think the (sgn) file is software and the (bin) is patch file to open the scrambled channels, is that right? Also there are some files on HTML format are that patch files. How much the size of the software and the patch should be? Please can anyone give me some clarifications?
And thank you in advance.

With regards to your receiver, as far as I know, they are both patches. Updates for your receivers used to come in the .bin format, but the last available patch on satdw.com is a .sgn format.
Usually, patches for your box are about 700Kb size.
Keys for your box are usually in the .key format, and are about 4Kb size.

Hope it helps.
