Its not a case of unmarrying it from the old box but marrying it to the new one. Insert the card into the new box. select the channel of one of the premium channels you wish to watch, phone the number displayed and then once you've got through the myriad of telephone options you will land up at a support desk who will help you out. All the technical details they will require are in the SERVICES / SYSTEM DETAILS menu on your new digibox.
Apart from those details, you will need the postcode and first line of the address that the account is registered to, the name & and the password (usually mothers maiden name)

Hope that helps

Cheers

I have got a new Sky Digibox and I want to use my Sky card on the new box. However, the Sky card is married to my old box and I can't use it with the new one, I want to know how I can unmarry the card to get it working on my new box.

You can use the card in whatever digibox you like but only the one thats its 'married' to gets the premium services - putting it in the 'unmarried' one just gets the family pack...............Ironically that's the exact opposite of real life..;) ..:-rofl2

Thanks Nick.

Oh one more question, now that I have got 2 boxes I was thinking of using the card on both of them, so say one box in my room and one in the living room. Obviously not at the same time but I just wanted to know if it was possible to register the card with 2 boxes.

Could that work with just one of the independent subscribed channels (in my case, the NASN channel)?

You cant have one card registered with two boxes, although the non premium channels will work fine . You wont get movie channels, sport channels or individual add on channels

Is that a metaphor about sticking your thing in to an unmarried thingy and then getting family things :D :D :D
