When I play back a recording how do i stop it from playing back.
I hit stop and exit but nothing happens.

When I go back to tv mode and then back again to file mode the movie plays from where I left it.

I am using Hydra Zeus

Many Thanks

When you switch to file mode, it will restart from where you left off. 'Justthewayitis' I'm afraid. Pressing the 'Video' button (maybe twice), then 'Stop' will stop it. Pressing the up or down buttons on the remote will give you a file list.

It seems like such a simple thing I felt stupid asking.
I'll try your suggestion but would like to see the video features improved upon in a newer image.

Related to this thread can someone tell me if its possible to avoid the still image from the previous recording when you access the file menu? Its fine when you start from fresh, but if you've been recording (possibly mature content) and then accesss the HD file menu there is the screenshot from where you stopped the recording!!
Could be a little embarrasing to say the least!

LOL, had the same problem when my nephew wanted to watch a film I'd recorded, had to insist that he get me a beer before I'd let him watch it. :)

The things you have to put up with....

If when you finish recording you view a 'normal' recording the next time you go the file it will show that.

You may also want to rename the offending films test 01 - whatever. You can do this by pressing the menu button will watching.

Might not work though if someone in the family is a cricket fan! ;)
