I intend to install disqec motorised 80cm dish. I have instaled fixed dishes before...so I know about elevation, the clarke belt etc......I have looked on the net and found some basic step by step instructions to instaall a motorised dish.

Is it easy enough ...or should i leave it to the experts? which will cost money

I also have done the odd fixed dish, but called in an expert to do my motorised system. If you are braver than me have a go yourself and if you fail, then go to plan B.

Yes, have a go, an 80cm on a DiseqC motor is relatively straightforward and there is loads of help available here. :)

As rolfw mentions, it is relatively straightforward, basic/initial rule is that your mounting pole must be dead plumb in all directions.
T24 has written some helpfull instructions and advice under Tutorials & How To guides further down on this board.

Go for it dasteelman if you take your time and follow the instructions its not that hard.
But as Gmbp says make sure the mounting pole is dead plum in all directions.
Best of luck and remember there is always plan B.
