Hello, newbie here.
I have got a new dreambox 7020. After a long confusing time, I have finally found out that I don't need any cam card. I now install newcs and evocamd. I have got some key for TPS, could anyone tell me how to add the key?

I found that I have a file /var/keys/Keylist.txt. Shall I add it there? and what format shall i follow?

thanks a lot

ben

Have you read The Guide?

How = FTP

Where = /var/keys and /var/scce depending on the emu.

Look for & install the newest CCcam emu (1.7).
then switch to France 4 or France 5 on Hotbird, and wait. CCcam will auto-update the TPS keys and you can now watch any TPS channel on Hottie.
no need for FTP'ing....

CCcam auto updates all keys? D+, Prem etc?

This works on a Dreambox? I'm gonna try this right now... :D

edit:

Is CCcam more efficient at decoding TPS keys? evocamd locked every time the keys changed (with the latest TPS.bin) while CCcam appears to be working fine.

I still needed to get my own keys for D+ and had to use evocamd (YMMV).

not sure about D+ and Prem, I usually download & install the satan bundle before switching to them. I'll have a try this evening to see if CCcam 1.7 is auto-updating these too (but which transponder ?)
about TPS : it usually takes some 30 seconds before the light goes on, not sure HOW efficient this is.

okay, switched to D+ last night without loadin new keys, and got an image instantly ! In fact, a bit too instantly, I guess it was opening with yesterday's keys. I'll keep testing a few more days to see what happens.

I've found I need to add keys for all channels and there is a slight delay on some channels. Last night I added new keys from JKF (but not TPS keys) and CCcam wouldn't open TPS (can't remember their new names) or multivision.

Well, it's still fuzzy. CCcam was opening Digital+ until last night, when all stayed dark. TPS went well, though, but you must go to France4 for 30 seconds for the auto-update to work. All TPS channels on hotbird are opened. As for D+, I finally reloaded a satan key bundle, but found that everything stayed dark ? Tried again 1 hour later, and got a picture this time. But was it CCcam or Satan who got it working.
Who cares - as long as we can watch their channels. For the moment I get everything I need from CCcan and Satan.

anle: as you're in the USA we won't be able to check what channels are open for you.

What's the problem? Have you read The Guide?
