You will not! Vu is not interested to provide drivers that report the signal as db. No team can do anything for that, they demand that Vu should update their tuner drivers and their response was that the general public is not interested in these values. So you get stuck with non-sensical percentages because that is what they want for their buyers. Simple as that!

It depends on the image, some if not others.
Also of the skin you select.

Look in system, user interface if you have it.
In Openspa is where he is.
----
Depende de la imagen, unas si, otras no.
Tambien de la piel que selecciones.

Mira en sistema, intefaz de usuario si lo tiene.
En Openspa es donde esta.

Important, the tuner is not shielded (a pity) and is very sensitive to home and mobile phones, be careful where the base is.
Importante, el sintonizador no esta blindado (una pena) y es muy sensible a los telefonos de casa y moviles, cuidado donde esta la base.

Not on Vu Zero! On several other Vu models, the calculation is done from Enigma2 as a workaround and it's a rough approximation, meaning the signal tops at either 16.2 or 17db because this is where the tuner drivers end the values, and of course these could never be exact. It's not a skin or an image issue, it's a driver issue.

I do not say anything, I have not played a zero for a long time and I do not keep photos of those screens, the information they give is more commercial than anything else, mine has more signal than yours.:-doh:D
Did you try the Openspa image?
------
No digo nada, hace mucho que no toco un zero y no guardo fotos de esas pantallas, la informacion que dan, es mas comercial que otra cosa, el mio tiene mas señal que el tuyo.:-doh:D
Probaste la imagen Openspa?

In Open Blackhole you will find the option in Menu, Setup, User Interface, Settings, and on the 3rd paage the option to swap SNR % with SNR in "db".
Check if your image is similar.

The VU+ Zero was designed more as a second receiver, to a better VU+ model, much like a second Sky receiver, and thus doesn't have the qualities of a VU+ Duo 2, or even a VU+ Solo 2.
That's why it can't run Kodi, like the more powerful VU+ receivers.

It's not the tuner my friend, it's Vu and their philosophy that don't want their receivers to show dbs. Every other model shows db by approximation (calculations that people coding E2 images try not from Vu themselves), some boxes are close to the real values but not exactly. If Vu gave developers DVBAPI v5 support everything would be different. They don't want to!
Long story short, there is absolutely no Vu receiver in the market that shows exact and true db values, because no tuner driver of theirs reports db natively. And personally this is why I'd never buy a Vu. Even the new 4K models don't support DVB-API v5 even though the tuners (used in other boxes as well) are db capable. Oh well...
