the idea is to take your v1.2 irdeto smartcard and duplicate it with a
subscribers card.

the working card...................
read all the data from this card, ascii and hex ser no's,hmk,mkprov00,mkprov10,pmk 00,pmk 10,allpk's prov00,all pk's prov10,and all the channel id's.i use cardblaster 92/93.

the 1.2 card.......................
kill the card....firecard 146,there should only be an atr on the card
and maybe the numbers '20' in other fields.

use fmcard 3/4 to write clone crd with the info you took off subscribers card.
write the crd to 1.2 card and verify info is ok on card.
write the channel id's to the card now.

your card should work now!!!!!!!!!!!

It is possible to take an original card and extract the mk's/ppua and then use this info on a gold/fun card to make it autoupdating.
Its also possible to add extra providers to an original card.(not a good idea) if you own the card.

The problem is you need an original working subscribers card for each provider.

why do you want to "kill the card"?

when the card is killed, the mosc serial number can be changed,so when the provider updates the originals' card, the cloned card will be updated as well.

and if the HMK is made public then the provider can kill the original and all the clones simultaneously too!
Playing aroud with MOSCs was great fun in the days before the PIC emulation came along. But you're stuck with a maximum of 2 providers on an Irdeto MOSC, and the MOSCs themselves are (in most parts of the world) significantly harder to come by (and more expensive) than wafers. If you have the HMK you can always create a fully auto-updating (for that particular provider) wafer with it.
