How to connect a sat receiver to a PC?

Hi,
i have bought a botech ca 9000 ci in Turkey last summer and i don't succed in connecting my receiver to my pc via a rs232 cable (null modem cable). To try to connect it, i use dnupman but it doesn't fint the receiver. So how to do to make the computer finding the receiver? Which software can i use?

ps: i have ever tried in a turkish forum but only few of them speak english.:)

Choose a right cable twisted or straight.
You may get confirm from the manual of your receiver the cable's configuration.
