How to convert WMA file to MP3 ?

Hi M8s,

Please help me if it is possible to convert WMA file to MP3 format. I know there are many genius in our great forum.

If it is a copy protected wma file (one copied in windows media player with copy protect enabled) then you cannot convert it to anything else.

If it is not protected then download Easy CD Extractor from http://www.poikosoft.com/ which also has a file converter, you might need to install WMA codecs also, but they are on that site.

There are many other programs about that do it, but I use the full version of that and it works fine :)

I've used http://www.mp3do.com/mp3converter.html to good effect. If its copyrighted, i.e. with embedded DRM (Digital Rights Managment), and you payed for it good and proper online and you'd like to convert it http://www.tunebite.com/ will record it as you play it back and bring it out of its copyrighted entrapment.

Another long winded way to go about it: you can burn the wma to cd and re-rip again to mp3.
