No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Wasn't sure whether to get angry ....or laugh my nutz off ...
Since it takes less facial muscles to laugh than to get angry ..I chose the latter...
Well ..don't want to exert myself too much do I ...
Absolutely brilliant ...and I bet we all know a few suffering from the same illness in varying degrees..

Regretably it is all too true as the couple living opposite me know, they have lived there 21 years and neither of them has done a days work during that time, their house gets re vamped every 10 years by the housing association, they recently had new kitchen, curtains and blinds, carpets, central heating, roof, double glazing front door, also they have a car mobility of course and their daughter and family moved the Oz last year so they got a two week trip paid for by the social to Australia and yes they do get the full package of sky including all sports and movies and have done for the last 15 years.

Being 'big boned' is a legitimate reason for sponging off the taxpayer, 'bone idle' is simply the logical extension of that malaise.
